And he went up with them into the boat; and the wind ceased; and they were very much amazed in themselves beyond measure, and wondered." Mark 6:49-51

Let the one who walks on water speak peace to your heart today. Allow Jesus to come on board the ship of your life and you too will be amazed beyond measure.

Why is this site called Anna's Place?

I feel a kinship to a woman who lived many years ago. Her name is Anna. The Bible says beginning in Luke 2:36, "Now there was one, Anna... She was of a great age, and had lived with a husband seven years... and this woman was a widow of about eighty-four years, who did not depart from the temple, but served God with fastings and prayers night and day."

I got married to my highschool sweetheart, Gerald Alan Kelly, on September 7, 1985. We would have been married seven years but he died suddenly on June 30, 1992. Even though my life has taken a different path, like Anna of old, I seek to serve God with all my heart. One of the ways is through the share and prayer ministry of Anna's Place.
